today's a super great day!!!
just came back from cic bbq...
im so happy to meet mr ng there...
it's like super qiao and his bbq pit's just next to mine...
nvr expected to meet him in such an occasion...
and i guess i really miss those times with him and my tuition mates...
it's just one of the best part of my secondary school life...
the thought of it was like just yesterday where we oso had a similar bbq at ecp...
but he's just as busy serving his students...
he's really really a very good teacher. the best i can say tat i've ever met...
if not for him...i won't find my interest in maths the past few years...
and i really really enjoyed his lessons...it's him who'd made me see how learning can be such an enjoyable one....that you really enjoyed the packed schedule of one week 3 times of at least 3 or more hours of lesson during all the busy periods...
maths was what i love most before...but not now...totally can't find any interest... and i really hate this feeling...cos it's like you even lost ur very last interest in wat was once ur fav subject...and that the rest of the subjects' like totally of no interest...life can be tat meaningless when you realize that you are spending 2 years studying things that will be useless in future...
chat with him for a very short while...and i really got the assurance from him...
it's like where the hell in this world can you find such a teacher that still cares about you...really like your friend... and really guide you the right path to take...its like knowing me better than i noe myself...
okay and i guess i was never ever more reassured than today...
it's been quite some time barbequing along the beach at pasir ris park...the weather's just as good and cooling...then had this random chat with mingyao about jian pu and chinese instrument stuffs...this really woke my memories of learning guzheng...abit regret not continuing taking this instrument or else i shld be damn pro by now...haha... long time didnt get to touch my guzheng...and really lost some sense of pro-ness...haha not as good as last time...but i guess it's one of the best decision ive made to really noe this instrument... tat was like how many years ago when i was p4...it's the very first instrument i really showed interest and initiative in learning it well...and it's guzheng tat gave me my ever first experience of performing in the esplanade when i was just a small primary 6 kid...touching this 21-strings instrument was really very different from the guitar...im more comfortable with doremi and numbers rather then the music notes...and self-improvisation can be easily done on guzheng!! but not guitar!!...more effort if i really wan to improve that skill on guitar...perhaps it's just that my theory's not good enough to pick up fast...not like guzheng...
